MBOSE date sheet 2026 for class 10, 12 released: Check complete Meghalaya board exam schedule here
The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has released the timetable for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for 2026. Class 10 exams will begin on January 30 and continue until February 11. Class 12 exams will begin on February 18 and continue until March 13. Students now have the full list of dates, timing rules, and guidelines for the examinations. With the schedule available, students can plan their study timetable, revise each subject in order, and be ready for the rules followed inside the exam hall. Students will also get a few minutes to read the question paper before the writing time starts. Entry rules and timing instructions are also included in the notification.
Meghalaya Board exam schedule in brief
Students can check the dates and keep them visible at home or on their phone for daily planning:
- Class 10 exams: January 30 to February 11, 2026
- Class 12 exams: February 18 to March 13, 2026
Most theory papers will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Some vocational papers will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Students can note the subject order and prepare accordingly:

- Science: February 2, 2026
- Health and Physical Education / Computer Science / Vocational: February 4, 2026
- Social Science: February 6, 2026
- Mathematics / Special Mathematics: February 9, 2026
- Indian Languages / Additional English: February 11, 2026
This order gives breaks between major subjects, so students can revise after each exam.
MBOSE Class 12: Subject-wise dates
Class 12 students can check the dates for their stream or subjects:
- English: February 18, 2026
- Modern Indian Languages / Alternative English: February 19, 2026
- Sociology: February 20, 2026
- Economics / Physics / Poultry Farming-IV / Computer Technique-IV: February 23, 2026
- Elective Languages / Biology / Entrepreneurship (Commerce): February 25, 2026
- Other subjects such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Accountancy, Political Science and more continue up to March 13, 2026
Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational students should focus on their own subject sequence.
Rules and timing on exam day
Students should follow all instructions during the exam. Entry into the exam hall will begin at 9:30 AM. Question papers will be distributed at 9:45 AM, and answer sheets will be given at 9:50 AM. Students will get 10 minutes of reading time before writing starts at 10:00 AM. It is important for students to carry their admit card and school ID, as entry will not be allowed without these documents.
